Change the following sentences as directed in brackets.                                 

1.        

(a)        Poverty is the greatest problem in our country. (positive)

(b)        Many do not try to better their condition by hard labour. (compound)

(c)        They only curse their fate. (passive)

(d)        But it is man who is the maker of his own fortune. (simple)

(e)        By working hard, they can improve their condition. (negative)
